Many people we give rides to during advertising campaigns remark “What a clever idea!” And they’re absolutely right. Having your brand on a Golden Gate Pedicab instantly associated your product with friendly, conscious service and gets you seen all across the city. Unlike billboards, pedicabs don’t stand still. Unlike taxicabs, we don’t zip by either. Our drivers can carry samples and talk to people about your product.

Though we are based out of the Port of San Francisco we can get cabs to other locations throughout San Francisco, such as the Moscone Convention Center or Golden Gate Park.

Golden Gate Pedicab provided free rides for patrons of the Oracle OpenWorld convention, taking Oracle business partners and technologists from the Moscone Convention Center in downtown San Francisco to places of interest in the area. Drivers also handed out promotional material to promote BackOffice Associates, and people were encouraged to participate in an iPad raffle with boxes for business cards conveniently located on the pedicabs.

We enjoyed a fulfilling campaign with Ms Meyer’s Organic Soap at the San Francisco Green Festival at the Concourse exhibition center. Free rides were given from BART stations to the exhibition center, as well as from the exhibition center to cars, hotels, or restaurants in the area. Pedicabs were donned with new baskets which were filled with lavender leaves and soap samples. The samples and free rides were a huge hit with the festival crowd. A few of the cabbies were even able to clean up the town.

Lasting four days, the Sales Force convention at the Moscone Convention Center had companies like Exact Target, InContact, and Inside View advertising on our pedicabs. Patrons of the event were treated to free rides all day in spite of the rain that hit the Moscone Center most days. In fact, it gave most people a fantastic way to get out of the rain! Drivers handed out promotional material specific to each company sponsored, including 3D goggles, coins, and pamphlets.

During the 10 days leading up to Christmas Eve, Jean Paul Gaultier promoted “Le Male,” their latest fragrance for men. Working in conjunction with a street team handing out materials, riders gave free pedicab rides around Union Square, free samples and coupon handouts. The force of 21 people wore Sailor outfits as part of the advertising campaign.
